Jay Moss is the Chief Marketing Officer at Woodside Homes. Founded in 1977, Woodside Homes recently announced the delivery of new home keys to its 40,000th customer, marking a significant milestone in the company's history. It is the latest accomplishment for Woodside, which is one of the largest home builders in the nation. The company has more than 300 employees and is active in five states, with divisions in Phoenix, Arizona; Riverside, Fresno, and Sacramento, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Antonio, Texas; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Woodside focuses on designing and building innovative single-family and multi-family homes targeted to the entry level and move-up markets. The company also operates as a land developer.
Moss has helped implement a strategic growth plan, the creation of new home designs and a focus on positive buying experiences, as well as a company-wide integration of the innovative “Better by Design” program that offers flexibility for buyers to personalize their homes with a design palette that suits their tastes. Moss has been with the company since the closing of several recapitalization transactions ranging from a $75 million equity offering to a $220 million debt issuance, which have significantly increased the company's liquidity and strengthened its balance sheet. Under his sales and marketing leadership, Woodside closed just over 1,400 homes in 2014 and has consistently been profitable since the first quarter of 2012.
