Bestseller Status: Confirmed

Jack K. Clymer II was born in Florida, and his family moved to South America, where his father worked. He attended public schools in Asuncion, Paraguay, and Georgetown, Guyana. As a teenager, he observed how poverty didn’t change many people’s lives.

Although they were poor, his community’s families worked together to put food on the table, and they had as much hope as everyone else who had more.

After returning to California in 1972, Jack finished his schooling and worked in the asphalt trade until his retirement in 2022.

When the pandemic hit, Jack started pursuing his passion for telling good stories. He wrote The Honolulu Man about two Hawaiian detectives, Leilani Hayashi and Joshua Jacobs, who race to catch a serial killer before the killer can snuff out another life.

His next adventure was The African Sky, a book that shows how those who have less have the same amount of love and happiness in their hearts. It is a story of love, hope, and survival.

He is now working on Mick Boyle, a story about a Boston policeman. The book is scheduled to be released in 2025.
